== সৌরজগতে কী আছে? ==

সৌরজগতের মাঝখানে রয়েছে সূর্য। আকাশের অসংখ্য নক্ষত্রের মতো এটিও একটি নক্ষত্র। অন্য নক্ষত্রেরা আমাদের থেকে অনেক অনেক দূরে। তাই তাদের দেখে অনেক ছোট মনে হয়। সূর্য আমাদের জন্য অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ এটি আমাদের আলো ও তাপ দেয়। সূর্য ছাড়া পৃথিবীতে কোন প্রাণীই টিকে থাকতে পারতোনা।<ref>http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/science/know_l1/sun.html</ref>

Some of the planets have the names of Roman gods that were worshipped by people thousands of years ago though no one believes in them now. Did you know that some days of the week are also the names of ancient gods? Saturday means "Saturn Day". Thursday means "Thor Day". Thor was a Viking god, the son of Odin. Monday and Sunday simply mean "Moon Day" and "Sun Day". Some of the months are also named after Roman gods. The month of "March" is named after the Roman god "Mars" - he was the god of War!
